Default What turbo for 750 to the wheels?

I'm building an iron block 370 for boost. My goal is at least 750 to the wheels. I plan on making my own kit out of stainless since it's readily avail (we sell it) I'm fabbing a 9" and going to be using a 4l80e. So, with those power robbing items would a MPT70 get me there or should I get a T-88? I've never had a turbo car, that's why I'm building one. I'm going to be using the L-92 heads and such. This will also be a driver not a track queen.

Also, would I be stupid not to go the truck mani route since they are so cheap? I can get the stainless for about the same price I can a set of manifolds. Actually cheaper

Thanks,
Andy

Use the truck Manifolds and a T88 for sure.

I would ask Jose for the best unit for your setup. But I'm pretty sure the 76GTS or T88 will do the job pretty easy. The 70 will not make that kind of power and hold it.

Im a 370 now and my goal is a little higher then what you set yours at.
Im running a GT42-76.
The truck Manifolds will work just fine. Id go with a 88 so u have room to grow if u ever decide to. Just make sure u use a good wastegate to be able to controll low boost if you choose to.
The 9" and 4L80E is an awsome combo.
Good luck with the build.

Thanks, guys! I was hoping Jose would see this and chime in. I'm not really going to bother him with it until I actually get ready to buy the turbo. I'm sure he gets tons of emails a day.

Go with the 88mm if you can fit it, and at minimum a 76mm unit.

Can I fit an 88 in the battery location? That's where I planned on going with the turbo. Would the MPGT45 work for what I want?s

The MP GT45 is only a 67mm turbo. I will be done much earlier then 750rwhp. The 88 could fit in the battery location if you stick with a T4 version.
