Ive heard of that beingdone before. I guess like a 50% tint wouldnt dim the lights down to much. I dont know if the tint would melt or not from the heat of the lights. not sure,

Glad to see you got yours done bro!! Looks good, you shoulda send your black tubs out to me, I'd smoothed them, and basecoat clearcoated them black, so they blended with the body instead of the texture that they come with. None the less looks good, can't wait to get mine. I'm putting a projector in for the highs @ 5K, and then 8K fogs, and lows. So did they 9006 bulb work better for you like I said? I thought about contacting Breathless since they provide all parts individually and getting 2 spare sets of the clear leans, one to VHT, and one to tint. Keepin the original clear incase I don't like the way it comes out...

yah the 9006's fit nicely. thanks for the help. A guy I talked to said the plastic covers alone were like 200$. He had some one lean on one of his and it cracked and they only sell them in pairs. I might try some kind of tinting be it VHT or Tint. Im happy with the way it looks for right now though.

All my side markers are VHT'd I just need to spray em again. Its been over a year since I did them the first time.

Guys I have been wanting to do this setup for a while but I DIDN"T want to drop 1100 on it though. I just called Breathless and I can get a good deal on the Headlight covers, So I figure I can just rig up a HID Light kit behind it and call it a day for all around $600.

XxXTransAmXxX I see you do a lot of custom work on Trans am's what should I do about the Brackets that hold the lights themselves behind the Clear lense. I could make a Metal bracket to hold the lights but I am up for suggestions.

I have a VRE 383, ported AFR motor with a D1SC and a LS1 Ws6 front clip
wanting to make my car look like this one
