Polished my roof today on the SS (3 pics) Well I had these water spots and you could tell it needed a good wax/polish. I did this all by hand btw, I used the meguires 3 step. Turned out great and i'm impressed. I need a better camera but this will do for now. Also all the water spots with this process disappeared

I guess you guys in the east have a acid rain/hard water problem huh...I have seen many posts talking about "water spots" and so forth....

eh i'm not sure. Most of them that say they have water spots on their hardtops suggest having to use a buffer etc. I wasn't expecting to get all the water spots out, just simply wanted a better shine and protection to the roof. Well goodness its like glass : ) , not a spec of water spots to be seen on my roof. Now i guess i have to do this often so they dont come back lol. It was nice washing the car today, when i sprayed the roof it was like it was spitting the water off kinda like spitting on very hot metal.

Yeah, it sure looks good...water in the east is indeed hard...visit my mom in TORONTO,ONTARIO,..and gotta use softener for wash and conditioner for hair..don't really need to here...notice the difference right away....water in the west is mainly from a Mountain Resorvoir..
