Default Help!!! Header Bolt Fitment Issues

Ok wtf... i pay like 1400 for headers and y pipe and after we finally got the driver's side header to fit, the header bolts dont align right??? is this a common problem? ive never heard of the header bolts not being aligned right? All but the very back one will fit on the drivers side, but then when you put in the back header first, none of the rest line up. On the passenger side, however, if you do all but the back, the back bolt wont fit, and if you do all but the front, the front bolt wont fit. Can anyone offer up some advice plz!! we are losing daylight and would like to get the headers back on before the end of the day... so far QTP has not been worth the money at all...

How far is from fitting?? You could drill the hole out and use a washer. If it were me I would send it back for a new one.

I think its more common then ppl like to admit. I had the same issue with a different companies set of $1200 SS Headers. PITA. I ended up oblonging the hole a little and it helped. GL

Start with the center bolts are work your way outward. Just thread them in at first. And sometimes you just have to walk away and take a break. A beer always helps
