Default 3 channel or 4 channel?

is the stock rearend out of a 97 A4 trans am with 3.23's a 3 or 4 channel

what is the difference between a 3 and 4 channel?

it depends on if you have traction control(TCS or ASR), although i can't remember which one it is for what

3 channel is no ABS/TCS - connector in center of rear
4 channel is ABS/TCS - two connectors at outer ends of axles, 1 per side
