windshield question?!?
I just broke my windshield during an install - and I figured if I could I'd replace it with something more 'worth while'. I called up GlassTek, and they said I could run thier 3/16" Lexan windshield safely without a cage. Is this worth the money in the end? Also, can you tell a window IS Lexan just by glancing at it?

I know there are some very nice looking products. Speed Glass is one of them. Some come with a scratch resistant coating. I would not just put straight lexan in. And I also have never seen a windshield other than glass that is DOT approved. That is if you even care to be street legal. Check out this link:
