my manifold is stuck!! need some advice

Default my manifold is stuck!! need some advice

i had a weiand intake manifold installed about 2 months ago, now the oil sensor went out so im tryign to take manifold back off but we used tons of rtv sealant and after takign all the bolts off that thold it in place, the manifold is stuck on there!!! anybody have any idea on how to take it off??? it seems like its cemented on there...any ideas or tricks would be of help, thanks guys.

Put a long (about 3 ft) bar in the TB opening and pry up.

Give it a light tap w/a rubber mallet from the bottom up if you can get a good shot at it.

why was RTV used? its not like the old school manifolds that had the oil galley exposed

Becuase these manifolds are known for vac leaks. SUX2BU is right. Get it off that way. Just use a rag on the inlet to get it off with no marks
