Default Conversion

Is it possible to change the front of a 1997 trans am to look like the 1998 front? Also how much would it cost? Thanks looking to buy a 1997 for 5 grand

I say save a couple of grand and find a 98, that way you'll get the LS1 along with the better looking front end and a lot of minor things.

if you're interested in doing the conversion though, there's quite a few threads on it - search!

i did it and it came out great make us appreciate it more. i wrote a tread in here with all the parts and brackets u need, look for parts in ebay. follow the link theres pix b4 and after

If you want to do it go for it. 98+ owners are not going to want you to but it's your car. I thought about doing it then didnt. Now I'm thinking about it again for one reason and one reason only I HATE THE LT1 HEADLIGHTS.

around how much would this conversion cost and after the conversion would a ram air hood fit?

of course i spend around $500.00 in ebay but i made all my money back with 3 times the interest and pay $600.00 for the paint job.
