Default texas speed ls6 heads

Do the valve springs come already assembled bc i ordered them with comp 918s and want to make sure they are comp 918s that are installed

they come installed.....I have the same heads/springs.

They should have a blue stripe on them.

Most "complete" well, all "complete" heads come with everything installed. Bolt em' on and go...........get the car tuned.

They dont have a blue stripe on them when i recieved my cam today it had a box of comp 918 springs so does it just now only have the ls6 springs and i have to install the comp 918s

I bought assembled heads with comp 918s installed not assembeled heads with ls6 heads and im gonna have to install these springs

a little frustration was let out in that previous post meant to put ls6 springs not heads

It is not a big deal.
Just get a C-clip spring clamp (old style) and change them.
think of it this way, you got an extra set of LS6 springs for your labor fee. You can sell those and recup some $$.

We install springs on the heads when they're ordered all together!

I recieved a box of comp 918 springs when i recieved my cam in a few days later and from what it looks like these dont look like comp 918s that are on the head

what do the ls6 springs look like that come on these heads..............mine had a blue stripe.

I dont understand.

If you ordered the heads and selected the comp 918 springs option they should have came installed and had a blue stripe on them.

If you ordered them seperate then they would not be installed but should have a blue stripe. I think some of the ls6 springs are yellow depending on the year.

If you already received the 918's when you ordered the cam then you must have ordered them separate.

I am confused here.

ya what had happen was there was a mix up on the order
