Default interior dash trim around radio

Has any tried to paint the dash trim around their stock radio? I'm talking about the piece that pops off. I'm interested in doing it same as the body color--som.
thanks

Yea I did mine along with the inner door handle cup and the piece that holds the switches. I lightly sanded mine and wiped it down. Then just sprayed it.

You two got pics?

I was maybe thinking of doing mine in pewter, but I don't want it to look shitty. Either that or gloss black.

No pics handy, looks good just don't paint everything body color and don't paint ANYTHING a contrast color (ex. ricer yellow on a red car is a good example)

I done mine, plus the trim around the vents, door handle cups and peice that holds the buttons. I like it, its not the best paint jobs in the world but it beats the plain look of stock. I know a lot of you will think its too much, but I am happy with it.

I painted all of my pieces as well, but I'm 100% against going bright colors. They all turn out tacky and attract too much attention. I feel black is the best for any interior other than ebony (that has to be silver)

Mine's painted black (in a grey interior) and it stands out enough to be noticed, but still looks tasteful.

i personally feel that paiont doesnt belong on interior pieces. no im not saying that you cant get amazing results, jsut that it doesnt look right most of the time. bottom line is take your time and do it right, if your going to do it at all. paint is one of those things that you might fall into the good enough for now thinking, and next thing you know, you hate it.

I think silver or black looks good, but the red might be a tad much imo.
