Racer's Lounge - Got laid off, need sugestions of who may be hiring!

I used to work at Katech engines in Clinton Township Michigan as a mechanic and chassis and engine dyno operator. I gained a ton of knowledge about the LS1/LS6 and LS2/LS7 while working there. GM's cuts pulled a bunch of programs out of there and they are experiencing a massive slowdown. Since I was the low man on the totem pole, I was laid off. I have over 10 years in the automotive industry mostly working on high performance cars and engines and 6 years as a shop manger. Can anyone suggest anybody who may be hiring?

MTI here in Houston is hiring an experienced LSX tech. Its a nice shop too.

I reccomend you do the same its not gonna get better till the big 3 fold and the rebuild starts

Yeah Michigan sucks. But Wheel to Wheel is hiring so give em a call and see if they need someone with your experence.
