Default Removing the Shifter ****???
I was wondering how to remove the shifter **** from an automatic trans I am converting to a M6 but i do not see any staple

Turn the key on (if still in the car) so you can move the shifter back - staple is on the front of the handle - can't miss it.

it may already be gone, but its not hard to miss, it you don't see it up there pull up on the handle to see if it will pop off.
