Unhappy Ditched the WS.6 last night....need.....

Well after 7 years of hard drivin this car, I finally lost control and went over a sidewalk, over a berm, down the other side and nosed into a parking curb. Need a new nose and inner fender and a few odds and ends. My 4" round Flowmaster exhaust tips are now 2x4 ovals, flattened them as they scraped on the side walk when I went over it sidways...........oh well...thinking of getting a body kit now...I need some ideas.....what do ya got.....

Um, I don't think you have room to talk...

I know that's not a "body kit" but look at your back bumper...falls under the same category IMO as someone putting on an aftermarket piece on any other part of the car.

I don't view the CME in the same light as you. It was able to be ordered as an option, although from an outfitter but an outfitter with a contract, and happens to be the best looking exhaust imo. I'm sure the first thing he thought of when he heard body kit is the horrendous looking ones that are on ebay.

CME is NOT a body kit, when its on you cant even tell, it flows with the body so perfectly.

I ditched mine a few weeks ago. I doubt you need a new nose, Your old one is probably more than salvagable. Take it to a body shop...

How about the factory kit? Should be able to find one of those fairly cheap seeing as how almost everyone here hates them and removes them. I have one on may car and like it.

Seems to be happening more and more lately. See my rant on this type of post in the " Understanding LS1tech Appearance Opinions" thread. This guy didn't even ask what anyone thought about a body kit, geez!

CME = rear gfx.... sorry

I don't think gfx are bad though in some cases, but that IS definitely the same thing as adding on the rear piece from most gfx kits.

.... body kit...

Sorry, that sucks about your car man.

I like some kits... but alot on here hate them with a passion. You can check out the wings west gfx kit if you are really interested, but dont expect alot of support on here for gfx of any kind.

Well, thanks for all the feedback. I will take pics....it's still before, no after yet. Yes, it needs a new front fascia. I'm thinking NO on the kit and putting the money into paint, ghost flames or something. The eatimate is $2000, without new pipes, drivers side wheels balanced and front end alignment, but I found more damage yesterday and looks more like $3500 -$4000 total.....I'm taking it back to the shop Monday....

Theres no way it should cost that much imo, it cost me $3890 to get mine fixed after I figured out I couldnt do it myself!

Heres a pic of what mine looked like after a run in with a steel fence,

that sucks man, but hey at least you were driving and only got that amount of damage. my sister backed into my TA on the driveway a few years ago and it caused 3500 in damages...she started like 10 feet away...
as far as body kit, i like the front facia of the wingswest kit...but it makes it hang low too.
