Question Help Oil Pressure Gage Buried

My Stock Oil pressure gage in my 99 camaro went barried at 80 psi today What;s wrong ,the sending unit?

usually if the sending unit goes bad the oil gauge wont read at all and stay at 0 psi, you could have a head gasket problem, any smoke from the engine bay or water in the oil???

No water in the oil ,Oil looks good,No smoke.I know in the older cars bad sender read very little to none.I dont know about the Newer ones.I think I may have an electrical prob going on....Not sure...
