Summit or Jegs, just call them, they can tell you what you need and get it to you in a couple days.

autozone and other parts stores can get you up to 7/16, but for anything bigger you need to order them, I know ebay has TONS of em for good prices.

i would rather grind the calipers than run spacers. its safer and legal.
It would be safer if you ran longer studs with the spacers.

I ground a LOT off the front left caliper on mine. I spent a whole day grinding with a big angle grinder, and the wheel is only now starting to turn a little bit once put on.. I think i might go with spacers now.

I didn't have to grind that much on mine. and i put brand new [pads in at the same time too.
maybe your not grinding on the right part. What i did was grind untill the "dimples" were gone and then spray paintr the caliper so i could see exactly where it was rubbing. then just grind the hell out of that one area.
It takes a long time your first time, cause you really don't know how far to go. hell most of your time is actually putting on and taking off the wheel your first time.

I am grinding the face of the caliper.... Do you have a pic of how your's looked after?

Maybe i am grinding the wrong part, but the spray paint thing is a good idea and i will take care of that when i get home. If you have any other pointers, please let me know.

Thanks.

i don't think i do but there might be one on here if you search.
I don't think its the face you have to grind but the upper corner(you know where the top and the face meet).
There should be two dimples on the caliper. keep grinding untill those are gone. use the biggest electric grinder you can find. i used a 6" one. and its easier to grind if you use the edge of the grinder (to cut into it instead of actually grinding) not the bottom.

Well then your pretty close. now just use the spray paint method to only grind where it hits. Your problem is it hits and you grind EVERYWHERE. There fore it takes alot longrer.

I'll tell you what, I spent like 3 hours grinding and putting the wheel on and take it off and grind some more. I am still not done but I think that I am close. Sux is right, I think that my driver's side front will be easier as I have a better feel for how deep I have to go. Talk about a weight reduction. I have a pile of aluminum under my car big enough to build a super delux, high rise and hill.

If you decide to do the wheel spacers, I have a brand new set (4) 3/4" thick aluminum.

I got some 5/16's bauer billets from thunder racing, and ARP studs for my 3.5" prostars, no grinding. Lot's of grinding on the back though (no spacers).
