Question Tunign for supercharger?

hey guys, got a used supercharger, but it was made for a 98 and I have a 99 so the tuner wont work. I have edit. I'm basicaly looking for some general guidelines.

I seem to remeber something like timing should drop 2 deg for every pound of boost, or a similar rule of thumb.

is there also a rule for adding fuel? should I use the wot table or the injector size table? I would think that the size table is the right one, becuase there will still be boost even when the engine isnt at full throttle, but I'm not sure.

If it helps it's a Powerdyne 6 PSI.

thanks for any help

Unless you change injector size, then I wouldn't use that table at all.

Did the SC come with an FMU? or does it rely completely on PCM tuning for the extra fuel?

If it was me I'd run a SD tune and just use the VE & PE tables to handle the fueling.

hey! Im retarded... yea it does come with an FMU. I guess that handles the fuel at regular throttle positions. that didnt cross my mind for some reason

what is an "SD" tune?

thanks for the help

SD is Speed-Density which uses only the MAP sensor, and not the MAF sensor, so you get rid of the MAF.

Try a search on SD.
