4L60E Shifting Problem I recently rebuilt my 4L60E when I had my motor out. I replaced the seals, steels, clutches, and went to a TransGo shift kit.
At WOT it had been shifting ok through the 1-2, but it would refuse to shift through the 2-3. It would hit off the rev limiter and I would have to back off the throttle.
For the first few weeks it would shift normally at part throttle.
Just recently I had the car out to continue trouble shooting and lost pretty much all shifting capability. It started on the freeway. It would randomly go into nuetral. When I got off on the ramp, it made it into second gear after about 1/2 mile. At the next light I couldn't get it out of first gear. I limped home and it has been sitting since.
Does anyone know what has failed? Is it a problem with the control module, solenoid, etc?
