help???new plugs in car bogs down and dies

Default help???new plugs in car bogs down and dies

ok i finished putting new tr6 plugs in because im going to a nitrous set up started her up she turns over and starts but bogs down and dies after start up if i give her gas she will keep running is this a plug not firing is there anyway to check without taking all those s.o.b. plugs out please help

I would guess a loose plug wire?

damn P.i.T.A. back pass. plug wire loose... runin good now and say gooooodbye to that last rear coilpack bolt, i didnt ever wanna have to deal with that one again...thankx zspot98

Like said ubove check for the snap sound as the wire goes on your plug. Also did you check the gaps I've seen some plugs come out of the box with the electrode smashed closed.

Yeah those wires are a real PITA to get locked into place. I also always check the gaps on EVERY plug before installing them. I usually tweak the gap to suit my requirements anyway Glad you got it all sorted out.

yeah i checked the gaps all of them were right on the mark of what they said it would be (.35) i kept that gaping for now a lot of people say the tr6 plugs wont run as well as the tr55 but are almost a must on nitrous i havnt ran my nitrous yet but i think the tr6 run better than my tr55 (not any more hp but seems to have a little better throttle response) just my .02
