steering linkage removal (for header install)

steering linkage removal (for header install)
so, how do i remove it so i can fit in my new headers???
im having the toughest time gettin the new ones in
i tried searchin diff departments of ls1tech and found a few topics sayin that u should unbolt it, but how?
can anybody help me out with this?
any pics???

take the bolt off on the steering linkage, but you shouldn't have to get a crow bar and crank the block in the direction needed, thats what I did, oh yeah remove the oil breather tube near the oil filter....

just remeber to fully seat it down when you re-install it! you may be thinking "duh", but trust me, you may push the linkage on what you may think is all the way flush, but the best way to check it is to feel for the grooved spot on the rack where the linkage bolts slides through. line this grooved area with the linkage area the bolt slides through! feel for it to make sure it is lined up properly! be safe, and good luck with the rest of your install.
