Default PCV replacement

Ok, this sounds so noobish but how hard is it to replace the PCV valve?

I know where it is and all...I'm installing a catchcan tomorrow but I've never really pull the PCV hose apart to check out the valve. I'm throwing one of the truck ones on(they're suppose to better).

How hard is it to change the valve?
