Default Borla XR-1s of the collector!!!!!! Pics inside.

Well guys i finaly got these all welded up and i decided to take a couple pics with the phoney. They hang purrty low, but i dont go over to much stuff so i dont know if i need to bang em up. They sound really really quite at idle compared to open LTs. And at wot they sound amazing. They have a tone now and not just a loud noise. I do miss the idle but at least now my interior doesnt smell like fumes, and i have an air freshener smell too.

And im just gona add a pic of the car too, its without the mufflers on it but i just thought you guys should see her.

It looks WAYYYYY lower in the 1st pic than they appear on the pic of our whole car. Weird.

Glad they sound good!

I agree. I wouldn't leave them that low unless it was a 100% track only car. Even then I still might raise em up.

If you roll on the weld's all the time, it looks like you could probably run the mufflers back a little further and gain esome room that way bacause of teh rake due to tire size.... somethign to consider. Probably wouldn't really effect the way it sounds much, or the performance.

Guess moving them back isn't gonna help... scratch that idea LOL.

I was wondering how they would fit, they are somethign I was considering myself. Guess I"m going back to the drawing board on that one.

I wish someone would make a 3 inch in and 3 inch out muffler that was like say 3 inches by 6 or 7 inches, maybe 18 inches long... sure would fit our cars with minimal work..... someone needs to get on that.

There is A LOT more room to make these fit, im just debating on doing it, if i dont rub then ill be fie but if i start hitting **** im moving them. The ends are mounted on the Crossbrace and i can move those and then do a little banging to get these to fit. They look sick from teh side too.
