Gears & Axles - 94 camaro what ratio gear do I have?

I just bought a 94 z28, and the guy I bought it from says it has that boring 2.71 rear end. How do I make sure? What option code would tell me? Thanks

It would be a GU2 RPO code...look for the RPO's in the door jamb or in the glovebox.

More likely its a 2.73, not a 2.71 Might get lucky and got a 3.23, but I doubt it.

Look for the code in the glove box. It would be 2.73s or 3.23s. Those are the two factory ratios autos got. Codes are as follows. GU2 = 2.73s GU5 = 3.23s And of course this will tell you UNLESS they have been changed witch is possible but not likely unless the car seems modded.
