porting MAF...
i got the maf out and the two metal halves apart, now to remove the screen. does it just rip all to pieces coming out or is there a way to re-use it?

i removed mine, just by gently prying it out (yes there is such a thing), the sides will crinckle and the screen will be garbage....i did mine with no negative effect on the car although there are many peole who have had this mod and have had problems w/ how the car runs....this is a fairly common subject so if u search there should be plenty of info..
p.s. i didnt port mine, i just removed the screen..maybe 1 hp gain at max on stock motor maybe slightly more for a more built motor.... looking back the risks arent worth the gain... but i guess i was lucky... the choice is up to you

thanks for the answers and not, "is this a joke?" if it were a joke, would i be asking? i just dont want to tear shi* up on my car. im just going to reassemble and purchase a granetelli down the road.
