Default Clutch Question?

After I run my car hard through the gears the clutch pedal starts to engage right at the floor, it gets hard to push in and I have to push it all the way to the floor to get it into gear. Then after I drive it for a few minutes it makes its way back up to its normal spot. Any suggestions, is this normal?

Mine does the same after a hard run up through the gears. If I'm not ready for it, I look like a cooze when I kill it after just looking all cool and fast.

sounds like the master cylinder, that happened to mine when it went out, so I just did the clutch at the same time

If, after you make your run through the gears, you pump the pedal, say at the next stop light, it'll come back up. You don't have to wait a few miles or anything.
