Default affraid of bog

I am getting ready to get my dynotune wet kit installed and i know this sounds like a dumb question but i am pretty new to this. I do not want to have the car bog of the line and the nitrous activate and blow something up. as long as i set my window switch at like 3500 and launch at like 3000 should i be ok? what would be the best way to avoid bog other than a safe tune and setting my window switch up right, or is this pretty much all i need. thanks for the help

makes sense to me, isnt that the point of a window switch?

Negative kind of. Yes you want to run the WS and set it above 3,000rpms, but you probably want to run a first gear lockout, so no matter what, it wont work in 1st (unless you wire in a bypass for roll racing). Robert56 posted a pic before of his 1st gear lockout, simple and cheap, do a search for that.

i was thinking about the roll racing today... i dont do it much only between my brother and i to see how fast his vette compares to mine. i figure with my NO digital window switch ill just turn the first gear lockout off on those occasions and turn it on when i race from a stop. its only two buttons and takes like 2 minutes to calibrate it. unless i roll race in first gear... but who does..

yeah i guess your right, i have 4:10's anyway so it would probabally spool up so fast anyway, even though that would prob help my 60 foot times
