Ebrake goes ALLL the way up

Ebrake goes ALLL the way up So what part did I break? If Im not careful when I pull the ebrake up, I can pass the locker thats insided intended to stop the ebrake making the thing stick straight up. Where/what can I do to remedy this.

just pull back the rubber part and try to look and see what happens when you pull up on the ebrake, you could have broke the locking pin or something like that.

no you need to remove your rear rotors and adjust the park brake shoes. chances are they are way out of adjustment. i have seen you on kcsr before, if you want to bring your car by some time i can help you do this, steve
