Default Real quick question on my cam I ordered

Ok I ordered a 233/239 on a 112lsa, My cam card of the cam I recieved says it is a 233/239 on a 113lsa is there really a big difference between the two, I wanted the old lopy sound will I still have it? Should I go through the hassle of returning it and getting the one I ordered.

Thanks,
Mark

the 112 lsa would make a little more power, but the overlap is what gives you the rough idler so it would all depend on the rest of the specs. Id say if you wanted the 112lsa then send it back because if you install it and dont like it or def want the 112 lsa then its gonna be a whole lot more trouble.

Figures.. Thats what I didnt want to hear, Ive spent more time getting the right parts I ordered, that I didnt get. But the 112lsa would def make more power though?. I want the lopy sound of a cam but wouldnt get that with the 113lsa, or would I.

I highly doubt ur really gonna hear a difference in a 113 and 112LSA if say the two same cammed cars were right next to each other for comparison.

That 1LSA difference moves the power band slightly, not necessarily makes more power. I would keep it.

True but it depends on if all the specs are the exact same. If they are then the 113 lsa isnt going to matter much, I just wouldnt keep it if it wasnt what I ordered, but thats just me.

Best thing to do is call the place you ordered it from.

yeah..down the road if you don't like it,you will always blame that particular cam, even if it is almost the same as the one you were going to get in the first place..

hey man if john at tsp said there wouldnt be an issue then stick with the cam, I just wasnt sure if all the specs were the same. If its the same 233/239 cam, just a 113 lsa over a 112lsa then stick with the 113lsa, I am just saying personally if im paying $400 for a cam I would make sure I got the one I wanted, but i understand the hassle to send it back and I know tsp has been backordered on their cams so if your happy with it go with it.

Your worrying about something that doesn't really matter.1 degree is nothing since your timing chain will slop more than that.
