Default Car running slower with boltons than it did stock- analyise my mods please!

Grr im really frusturated

ok 2002 Z28 A4 42k perfect condition

with a lid only I ran a 13.262 @106.6 with a 2.10660'

since then i have

-!rear seats
-ported tb
-cutout (towards the back, not right up in the y-pipe)
-cut 4" holes in the bumper support and ran 4" duct up to the bottom of the lid (almost the sux2bu intake, but i havent cut the part of the frame that the lid sit on yet, but its still blowing air up into my FRA)
-ditched the 16" 245 daytonas for 17" 275 kumhos (yeah i know, not the greatest tire in the world, but better than daytonas)

so now im getting 13.5's and 13.8' with horrible 60' times (like 2.3's!)
but tonight I even cut a 2.085 60' and ran a 13.39 @105

WTF. I dont understand. At first i thought it was traction, but when i got my best 60' time ever (2.085) i still ran slower than i did stock.

This isnt asking what mods to do (yeah i know lca's big stall blah blah)

I wanna know what did i do wrong?

Yeah, weather plays a big part. In good weather I usually run 10.5's, since my last time out I removed the front bumper support, went to the track last night, 10.6's was all I could get, it was more humid and warmer since my last time out.
You really could work on that 60' with some better tires for the track though.

Weather is a big part. Winter weather to weather around now (especially with this front sitting over us) is probably worth at least a tenth if not more in lost time.

I'm wondering if tuning the car after the TB install and cutout might help a little. I didn't think it mattered much on mild-modified cars until Jeremy Formato found 12 rwhp and 25 ftlb on my Formula, and I have about the same mods as you do.

last year in 65-70 deg weather my car would go 11.4's -11.3(11.33 best motor)all day in may-june. last year i went to the track in early november and ran low-11.2's all day and even did a best of 11.15. my mph also went up 2.5 to 3mph in the colder weather. so...the weather can hurt or help you out.

Your reaction time is never factored into your e.t. The e.t. clock starts running the instant you leave the starting line. You could theoretically sit at the line for 30 seconds after the tree goes green, and your e.t. would not be affected by it.

switching from a 16" rim to a set of 17 " rims is killing your gearing.

Tires are the same height. The snoflake with the 245/45/16 is the same height as the new rims with the 275/40/17. I bet theres maybe about an inch max in diameter difference

Temperature isn't the only key factor in weather. Humidity is huge, too. Down here I've noticed the winters are a lot dryer than the summer months
