Finished my header install today...
Just got done installing my MAC mids and high flow y-pipe. all in all i have to say that it was a pretty easy install. i was expecting alot worse. the driver side header slid right into place, i did have to cut the little square casting of the passenger side of the block to get the new header in, but that was no big deal. I definetly feel a power increase.... especially after 2800 rpms. i would definetly recommend the MAC mids to anyone who is unable or choices(for some reason) not to run longtubes. The headers and y-pipe fit great, and the install only took me about 7-8 hours with hand tools and no lift.

Find a friend thats done it before and everything will go much, much easier.
To bad I was the F-ing guinie-pig that had to go first among my group of friends. Now they're all going to be asking me to help them do thiers.

i could definetly do it again in much less time, like i said before, i heard all these horor stories about how hard headers are to install without a lift, i dont see what the big deal was haha. got a few nice scrapes, cuts, and bruses, but it was all worth it when i fired the car up!! and it started!! haha. and RADZ i am in Sterling, va like 2 min from NOVA community college.

Almost as bad as headers on a 96 Cobra. You can't reach a SINGLE BOLT from under the hood, and we had to pull the k-member.

that sucks...i was reading a post on here doing some research on the MACs before i bought them....and a guy was talking about putting headers on the newer 03-04 cobras, god that sounds like hell to do. id be hating life haha. the funny thing is my friend has a 04 cobra with bassani x, borla cat-back, ported blower, 60lb injectors, and now hes looking to do headers on it. you WONT see me helping on that thing. especially because its a ford haha
