shoot the dogs so they wont come around it anymore............

chips, you cant really do anything but touch up paint. If there is no paint there, you cant hide it or make it go away.

I have almost 30 hrs in the past 2 mos using the porter cable and different compounds. Although my car is not quite 4 yrs old, it has alot os scratches, none thru the clear coat, but alot of deep ones along with deep swirls. I started out with the orange pad and 3M Fine Cut compound(39002), but it really didn't get rid of the deep scratches or swirls. I am now to the yellow pad and 3m Medium Cut compound and it is doing much better. The porter cable takes of so little, that it really is idiot proof. With time, you can get most of the scratches and swirls out. I finally have my spoiler done and will complete the t-bar tonite. then it's on to the hood, fenders, bumpers. It really is time consuming and a true labor of love, but it sure looks much better. Most of my scratches can only be seen in direct sunlight, which makes it really hard to do in the garage at nite. Good luck!
