Where can you buy one?

You can try some of the major tool trucks, Snap on Mac and Matco. Because GM will not sell to you if you do not work for a dealer. At least a couple of years ago they would not. You can also try to call a GM dealer and ask the Service Manager if you can borrow it and offer to leave a deposit for the full amount the tool costs. This should get you somewhere.

I have used these before when I worked at the dealer. They work great when you don't have an extra hand.

Well you know the old saying! If you can't buy it, .................then make it. So I made my own. :D

badazz, did you machine the tooth also?
06-05-2006, 10:16 PM
YES. It's very easy. I used a 3/4" End Mill to machine all but the tooth (angle). That I used a 60 degree chamfer mill.
The bracket was just sawed out of angle iron and slotted. Nothing on it's precise. I sent you a PM telling you more about it.
