Default LS2 GTO not getting 100% TPS?

Here's the problem in a nutshell, a 2006 GTO won't go over 88% TPS. Barring obvious physical restrictions (floormats), what else could cause this on an ETC car?

Are you reading this from the Pedal Signal to the computer, or the computer signal to the TB?
Is the torque management still active in the computer? If so, that is probably the reason you are seeing the TPS not open all the way. The computer is not giving the signal to go WOT even though the pedal is to the floor. That is the beauty of Torque Management.

hmm, didn't catch that one when I searched, thanks for the link.

This one doesn't show over 88% TPS anywhere. Has this been confirmed as a glitch with HPT, or is it a problem with the TPS? Might have to verify this one through a dealership or something.

GM changed the way they interpret the SAE PID for TPS % (the one we show in the scanner default). Don't ask me why....

The solution is simple, delete the TPS PID and add the ETC Position %, and/or the ETC Desired Position % PIDs.

They read to 100%

Chris...
