In what way did you get the hookers to connect to the X pipe? I've got the Dr. gas 3" in/2.5" out X pipe on it's way and was wondering what all I needed. Any pics of your setup?
thanks.

The hardest part is getting the drivers side to aline right with the x-pipe. That part itself took me hours. You could always use flex pipe, but it doesn't look pretty. I ended up cutting my hooker y-pipe, to use the drivers side leg, to mate with my x pipe. The passenger side is a breeze. Just have patience, time, and the right tools, and you'll get it. At the end, its well worth it. Good luck.

Flp's are the hardest to do especially when you have double diamonds to deal with.On the hookers it all depends how you want to do it.You can cut the 45 a little and it also depends on how much pipe you put from the x to the 45.

cool, Im not so much worried about the look of it, but Im lowered so a flex pipe might not work. Also, how do you actually connect the headers and the X? I mean what kind of flanges or whatever?

I always start with the x under the car.I then do the front pieces of pipe then I do the back.I would use band clamps from the pipe to the hookers.

Are you making your own exhaust or something? Or are you gonna let an exhaust shop do it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Were going to be installing the headers and X pipe (dumped before axles) at the same time. Im just trying to get everything straight so we don't get under the car and be like "Uh..........what now?"
Also, If anyone who has done this, any advice you could offer would be great as far as how to set everything up. Like do I need new hangers, etc etc. I think we might get through the header install fairly easy, thats pretty straight forward. Thanks!

I always start with the x.I then do from the headers to the x then from the x to the mufflers.I just put 2 hangers on the turndowns and weld them to the car.As long as you take your time and cut your pieces carefully you will be fine.
