Default lt1 heads

can you install alumnium lt1 heads on a early small block 350, 400. what all is involed. thanks.

The LT1 style heads are "reverse cooling" design where standard SBC is not..The LT1 heads could be converted to standard(probably), but would cost more than a set of SBC heads new. Alot of LT1 guys get SBC heads and convert them to reverse cool, but i've never heard of converting LT1 heads to standard. Don't know.

its not worth it bc fully porting lt1 heads i dont think would flow as much as sbc heads ported..if they do its just barely and wouldent be worth it

If I remember correctly, someone on TGO did it awhile back I'll see if I can find it.
