Alright, Ive have seen a few people running no air box recently at the track.
Does this help at all, or is more of a headache later on?

i would say that's not worth the trouble at all. too much risk of things getting through your MAF. but it's your car, do as you please i just know i wouldn't, no way in hell.

there's a lotta idiots at the track. 16 year olds that run their cars to the ground at every light. would you cut off your eyelids? there'd be all kinds of dirt blowing into your eyes. so again, would you cut off your eyelids? if your answer is "no", don't cut out your airbox because that's like cutting off your car's eyelids.
