Default Do I need to get my fast 90 intake ported?

Im goin to be installing a fast9o intake with the nw tb. I've heard of people having them ported before intall. Do i need this, i thought the grand i spent for it would have gotten me the best possible intake. mods in sig plus this intake and a set of tsp ls6 heads.

It will be beneficial, but it comes down to the cost of having someone do it. If you have the means to do it by yourself then do it. Otherwise you are going to have to pay some decent money for 8hp or so.
