so me and my buddy just got finished putting an new opti and water pump on my 93 LT1 and the sucker fired right up for a few seconds. a weird hissing sound started (like sucking air) and whenever i tried putting some throttle on it died.
just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem before. some feedback would be appreciated

check for a vaccum leak from the opti to the intake. check all sensor connections MAF, and throttle body. check that all plug wires are secure.

Vaccum leak huh? What line would cause that from the opti to the intake? Its a 93 there is no MAF.

Justin tommorow were gona try some tricks up my sleeve to get her going again.
