Brake piston wont go back in (00 Mustang V6)

Default Brake piston wont go back in (00 Mustang V6)

I can't get it to go back in using a c-clamp. I got it in enough to take off the caliper and replace my rotors but I cant get the caliper back on. I even bled the brakes. Please help me

undo ur bleeder valve and push it back in then re bleed the system

For the rears, you gotta unhook the parking brake cable.
For both the fronts and the rears, you gotta get this tool that twists the piston in (I bet autozone has this loaner tool) and then the piston will go in.

yep. or in a pinch you can use a set of needle nose or bent tip pliers to screw in the pistons

Thats what we do at my shop. Just be prepared for hurt knuckles.

i might be way out of line with this, but did he bleed it? i mean when i did my s10 id just pop the top off the pump and the fluid would come out the resuvior...messy but was easy...
