Default Are opti spark plug ends the same as LS1 coilpack ends?

I was told by the MSD tech guy that they were the same, so that it'd be easier to just buy an LT1 plug wire set than waiting for the ls1 universal set batch to be made again which wouldn't be until the end of the month. My coilpacks are mounted on my midplate which is why I need a longer wire, and I hate having to put on my own ends because they never seem to work as good and stay on as well as the 'done-by-factory' connection.

Just trying to confirm this before I go ahead and buy a set.

I have been told by many people that yes LT1 wires will fit an LS1, but I have never tried it

Thunder sells a "cut to length kit" to do this very thing. Check them out, thunderracing.com.

I talked with them this afternoon...they do not have that in stock and won't until early June.

That is why I am asking if the opti ends are the same as the coilpack ones...I know the ls1 coilpack ends are usually like 45 degrees but I'm talking about the connection itself. I actually need straight coilpack ends anyways.
