speed-o way off 94 Z28 a4,code says it has 3.23 gears, checked the rear-end with the drive shaft to tire rotation method and it seems to be right on the money-3.23's.My problem is the speed-o is way off and the shift points too.Do you think someone put a different ECU on the car?I want to send it to Madz28.com to have it reprogrammed,this should fix it right?

Also would anything else cause the speedometer to be off?I figured a prior owner put a different ECU from a car with different gears.The fans come on at start up and the heater doesnt get very hot.These are just a few of the little bugs I got with this new car.Also no bottom end power and shitty gas mileage,this one is going to be fun finding all these little problems.But for $2100 I just could not turn it down!!!!!!

i thought 2.73's came in that year. then 3.23's in the cars with obdII. and it does sound like your ecu if all that stuff is messing up. try to find one off of a similar car in your area and try it out to see.
