It sound very good but it is loud.Idle is not that bad but driving down the road is loud.It all depends on what you like though.

Dynomouth sound clips:

The thing is not as loud as the guys at the muffler shop think. They will be surprised... I was told the same thing, along with probably everyone else that has done this at a muffler shop.
The idle is amazingly tame. It is just deep and mellow all the way up near 3k rpm.
After 3k it growls and the volume goes up from there. Once you make WOT, it just screams.
The trick is to control the volume with the throttle. When cruising, it is very docile, there is a very slight drone at 2k, but not nearly as bad as some other systems. I have no trouble talking or listening to news or music.
I don't think that there have been any who have done the mod and disliked it.
More info on page 2 of my website, but I think it is down today...
Good luck
Dave

AMEN to everything Dave just said.. I have had the Dynomouth for a while now and still love it every bit now as I did when I first got it. The thing can be as quiet as you want to drive it and as aggressive as you'd ever want!. Some days you feel like driving around at 3k RPM and above, scaring the poor ricers away and other days you feel like listening to your favorite CD and just cruising... It's so Deep and mellow. Just listen to the Sample above with the blue Camaro on the Dyno as he rows easily thru the gears. If that's not Classic deep muscle car exhaust I don't know what is!

put some long tubes on it, then you won't wish it any louder <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
