Default Why does my alarm randomly go off?

Tonite my car justed honking twice every one or two mins. The only thing I can think of is that the rain and wind is making it go off, but its been its been out in the rain and wind before. There was also nobody around messing with it because I checked. I had to lock it with the key instead of the little key fob. The car has the factory alarm system. Has this happend to anyone else?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe the sensitivity needs to be turned up. The adjustment box thing is in by the spare tire.

I'll accidentally press the panic button pretty regularly, and my alarm will just go off in the garage until either I hear it, or my roommate tells me it's going off.

Mine did this a couple months back during a storm. Turns out, if the shock sensor gets wet, it will malfunction. Some have success when it drys out and plug it back in, but mine was gone... I just unplugged mine permeantly.
