Two questions about rims and tires
okay I am looking at getting the deal on these rims which are 18X10.5 for the rear and 17X9.5 for the front.
My questions are:
1)What offset is needed for these rims to be flush i am going to run 315's on them
2)What rim and tire combo can I get for slicks at the drags, it seems that 15" rims are cheaper for the slickes what is a good, lightwieght rim with correct offeset (I hate when the tires stick out), and a tire that can fit them like 25"X11.5" MT slicks?
Thanks in advance

1) Well, my iForged rears (10.5" wide) have a measured offset of around +45mm and my fronts (9.5" wide) of around +46mm and they sit as far out as I would want them. They have a nice aggressive look without looking gaudy and like a pregnant roller skate.
I have no idea about question #2, as I am not a drag racer......

If you run 315s... be sure that the particular tire you pick doesn't require an 11" rim or it may not wear very well.
I will be running 18x11's w/ 315s on my car and the offset I went with on the back was 45mm. The same as TT2 offset for 17x11 size.
You probably already know, but offset is figured based on how far the mounting location is away from the center of the rim. So 10.5 would be a little different than 11, but they are close and sounds like thats what JR Hawk 9 got too.

nice 315's is what I want to be running on the street, but I also want a set of rear rims for slicks, for the drags any clues on that meaning, 12" slick, 11.5" slick, or old fashioned 10" slick? I want to know a set up that is nice, big, and wont stick out!

hmmm, nobody runs a seperate set or rims and slicks for the drags? I just want to be able to order a set of slicks and rims that wont stick out, and aren't uber expensive.
example answer: 15"X10(.5)", and a 28"X11.5" slick with a ____ offset fits great, with no rubbing and costs ______

Hello?
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on now
I hear you're feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I'll need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you would not understand
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.

O.K.
Just a little pinprick.
There'll be no more aaaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good.
That'll keep you going through the show
Come on it's time to go.
