I want to mod my car as much as possible by this friday... Ladies and Gents, I am going on a trip down south this friday. My friend who I am going to visit has a 03 mustang GT m5 that he claims will win against my car. It is mostly stock but has a full exaust system and K&N and thats about it aside from big tires.
I am currently running a K&N filter and a cutout on a 97 M6 WS6
I know with WS6 being 305 HP Stock that the horse power Is alot more than a 03 stangs 260 hp. But I know those stangs have the ability to drop some mighty power to the wheels and I just want to make sure I go down there well prepared
Let me know what I can have done by then if possible

I still would like to really try to play out all my bolt on's and etc cheap stuff so that I take him out REAL bad.
So after wards he will bow down 
and admit.. mustangs get beaten by F-bodies. He has claimed that he has taken down a few LS1's in his car. One thing im worried about my car how ever is that I sadly was beaten on the free way at about a 70 mph roll by one of those stupid WRX STI gay cars.. I dont know how it happened but it did.. So my confidence has been down, but the guy had to of been heavily modded with bigger turbos or somthing..

Just make sure it is in good mechanical condition. Check your plugs and wires if its running rough (I know its a pain). Make sure your valves are adjusted properly. If it runs smooth and you cannot hear a ticking sound fom the valve covers, they probably are. Check all of your vacuum hoses.
Lose some weight. I'm not calling you fat, but your car may be. Spare tire and jack weigh quite a bit. Since you're going on a trip, those should probably stay in there. The back seat could probably come out though.
The most important thing to remember is to smile and wave as you fly past him.

Lol Yes actually I am getting on the fat side my self
due to my 94 Z28 that I got into a head - on collision with put me in bed with a metal bar in my leg for 2 months.. then got it taken out and I was down for another 2 months so in bed for a while got me plumped up from muscle loss and no activity 
But a thought to ponder.. excercise for better 1/4 mile times...

I just bought the car seems to run strong IMO. Im not too mechanically savvy but my .02 cents. I just wanna completly blow him away as much as possible and Im not sure what is fast cheap and easy to do on the LT1 since I already got ram air CAI is outta the picture
