Default 90 Fast/90nw + Lt Ory Pacesetters + Tune

Last week I dyno my car, it was 308hp,317tq. The guy said I was running too lean and told me to get it tune. So I order pacesetter,ORY,NGK TR6, fast 90/90NW,and my question is how much hp will I be at after the tune and the 90/90 and LT?other mods on sig and its a 98 m6..

With those parts and a good tune, I'd expect 30-35+rwhp.

Is it going to be an LS1edit/HPtuners tune?

I think you should take it to an LS1 specific shop. My uncle's buddy used to be a crew chief for some big names in World of Outlaws sprint cars, he can make a 410ci car run like a beast, but he can't even spell MAF.

Catch my drift? It's not as simple as changing some jets and adjusting a few screws on a 650 Holley.

It take more than the average backyard mechanic to do a proper tune job on one of these cars. A hypertech/diablo "handheld" tuner won't get it done right, that's why I asked about LS1edit/HPtuners. Those are computer programs that you use to edit the car's PCM files via a laptop. You could buy one (about $500), but you'd have to learn how to use it. We have a whole section dedicated to PCM tuning.

Do you live by any LS1 speedshops? ----------->

You are not going to see much from the fast on a stock engine...but Id say you still see + 20rwhp, with a proper A/F and headers.

That guy hads a 05Gto and he tune some GTP and got alot out of them, but I rather pay someone to do it right. And yes I live close to AZpowerandsound and there work only on LS1's. That sucks if I get 20rwph..

if you are planning on going H/C the the 90/90 set up was a good pick up. don't really need it now but you will in the future- its not going to hurt you. Look up a sponsor on here that could tune your ride as you will pick up the most from them, as they do this for a living. especially get a tune if you are going to use nitrous.

Don't use a hypertech or a handheld programmer as they will up the timing which is not good for nitrous= blown motor.

Just save some money and get a proff. tune especially using nitrous.

how many other cars have they done, ask around a bit. its not a bad price. see if they are using ls1edit or hptuners. make sure your A/F is about 12.8 or richer(lower) with using the nitrous. I am at 13.3 but I am not using nitrous, so it is safe, but if I were to throw a 125 shot on I would most likely have problems. also with your nitrous see if you injectors max out. if it gets lean towards the end of the pull you are needing more injector.
