Default Can you daliy drive on MT Et Streets/Drags??

I have some bfg 275/60/15's on right now which equals a 28" tire. I want a 26" tire and a friend of mine says he will trade straight up for his et streets. I daly drive to work and back. thats it. Is it okay to daily drive on these, I've heard of them corroding or something. Thanks.

I'm going to DD the ET Streets. I would only use them if your making a lot of power and are having traction issues. I expect them not to last more then 3-4k miles.

I drove on them for awhile but only in dry weather also make sure to keep about 26 lbs of pressure in them...at least that's what worked best for me.

If I am too lazy to take my Bogarts off after a track day I drive on them... but they definately don't go out in the rain. I run 18" BFG DRs for my DD tires now... but have yet to get caught in rain with them.

I felt they got too squirlly on the highway for my liking.

And I recall someone saying that they get "hard" if street driven too much without the burnouts. True or not, someone else needs to pipe up.

ET drags are too squirley on the road. Especially if you have radials up front.

I switched to M/T drag radials and they were 200% better. And they bite just as good.

I drove on ET Drags to the track a couple of times, cruising on the highway was interesting to say the least. ET Streets weren't AS bad, but still a little sloppy.

You drove those in the snow? You're my new hero! I wouldn't drive my Z in the snow with show tires with chains!

ET Streets are pretty much low-grade slicks...not a good idea. A friend of mine wrecked his car because he was driving with DR's on the highway, and he had to quickly dodge an idiot in the right lane. The back end had no lateral traction, it came around, and put him into the forest.

I use my BFG drag radials on my daily driver. Mind you, I have them switched for regular tires in the winter (good ol' Canada lol). But, I haven't ever had any problems with them.
