Default LS6 heads better than nothing?

Thinking of getting some heads. I have a spring kit, and was thinking of getting some LS6 heads. Im kind of on a budget, (around 500) so would LS6 heads be better than my stock 2000 heads?

The LS6 Heads ported with a cam are making good numbers on a budget and they can sometimes be had for pretty cheap. They make good power too...

i would save up alittle more and get a set of the budget ported ls6s and you can troll the for sale section and find you a good deal on a slightly used cam.better to do it all at once than to have to tear back into it not much later on.

I just put a set of stock ones on and I felt a pretty good difference over ls1 heads. I think it was worth it for only $500

They flow better & increase compression. Great for the price.

If you can save up $900, you could at least get the PRC LS6 heads.
