Default I have bench bled the master, but is it ok to put the slave in dry?

I got my tranny back from T-56 rebuilds and will be installing it this Sunday. I already have the new master installed and bench bled. Reservoir is full and connected. Now my slave cylinder is still bone dry. Do I "need" to bench bleed it? Or can I install it dry and just bleed it normally by pumping the clutch and cracking the bleeder?

Thanks,

Keys

The slaves from GM come primed w/DOT3 all ready. Just hook up & bleed the system, & your good to go.

Default Considered install of a remote bleeder?

While you're in the process of this job, consider the install of a remote bleeder. Its about 36 inches long and will reach to the top of the engine bay for fixing to a bolt. Allows the bleeding process to take place in the future while standing and no jacking of the car required!!

Still available and send a PM if interested.

Here is the prior discussion:
