Default Rod & main cap bolts....torque-to-yield?

I'm assuming yes, and that I need to replace them once my shortblock is taken apart. What's the best replacement for the mains (I know there's ARP and Katech for the rods)?

Has anyone reused the stockers without problems?

The main bolts and studs are not torque-to-yield. I am putting my shortblock together right now and thunder racing said they do not need to be replaced unless they are damaged. But if you want them they are about $90 from a dealership.

they do not need to be replaced, this is true, but for $90 you can upgrade to ARP bolts which is what I recommend.

ARP-134-6006 ARP High-Performance LS1 "Cracked Rod" Connecting Rod Bolts All $73.50

ARP-234-6301 ARP Pro-Series LS1 "Cracked Rod" Connecting Rod Bolts All $89.25

What's the difference between the two?
