Default Temp Difference with B&M Deep Pan

I have a AutoMeter full sweep electrical gauge which runs about 190-200* in traffic and that's only with the outside temps around 90* I have the B&M 29,200 GVW cooler. With 100* weather coming up, what difference will a B&M deep pan make temperature-wise? I ordered a fan control switch and am hoping it will take care of the issue. Who can speak from experience on the issue? Trying to keep from adding the extra 4 quarts of weight to my car, but, the extra 10 lbs is negotiable if it means protecting the tranny.

The reports I've heard have been about 2-3* - insignificant.

That's about what I was guessing. Hope the manual fan switch works when I install it next week.

I run two coolers. In the summer, I am in 100+* temps, and that will run the tranny to near 200* after I' m sitting in traffic for 45 minutes. Overkill in the winter, but, better safe than sorry

Where do you have them mounted? I first had my 29K GVW mounted underneath in front of the passenger side front tire. Couple weeks ago, I moved it to in front of the condenser because it's to thick to put it between the condenser and the radiator. Thought it would restrict the airflow to my intake, but, it seems to flow air pretty well.
With the tranny running hot in traffic, it only takes one time gettin' it up to a high temp to burn the oil. My FLP was installed only a little over 4,000 miles ago and the oil already is a little darker than it should be. Guess I'll have to change it next week. 200* is too hot. If I could keep it below 180*, it would last 30,000+ miles longer.

The pan wont make a huge difference, but may help. Here is my setup. I am using two coolers. One is a B&M 24,000, the other is a B&M 29,000 with a fan on it. TCi deep pan, and -6 braided lines. In 50 degree weather, after about 45 minutes of regular driving the temperature never got over 150. Now this is assuming the auto-meter sensor I placed in the vacum port of my th400 is getting an accurate reading. The fan on one cooler hasn't even turned on yet. It has a thermosensor that activates the fan when the temperature reaches 185.
I think when the weather gets a bit warmer, then the fan should start to come on and contribute to the cooling. I also feel it can be beneficial when the car gets dynoed. The trans coolers barely get any air blowing on them when the cars are placed on a chasis dyno. The radiators have the fans to help cool the motor, but transmisions dont. They just get hot, resulting in poor dyno numbers. Then people come on here and complain that their auto car didn't dyno well.

I personally saw 7-10 degree drop. Maybe I'm just an anomoly.
